Janna reunited with 2021 GJAC team mate Amy Na to qualify for the USGA Women’s Four Ball. The pair missed the cut with a score of 2-over 74, eight strokes behind the winning pair. This was her first time to compete in a USGA event and play at the foggy and damp Green Valley Country Club.
Janna and Amy started off at the 10th tee and posted 1-under in the first nine holes. They made a string of birdies on the 14th through the 16th but committed bogeys on the 11th and 18th. Trying to carry the momentum to the second nine, the duo went cold. They made bogeys on the 3rd, 4th and 6th.
Janna said she enjoyed the team up with Amy even though luck was not on their side. She added, they had plenty of looks for birdies but never converted.
Moving forward, if schedule permits, Janna and Amy may give it another go next time around.
