Janna headed back to the Monterey Peninsula to compete in the JTNC I Holiday Series at the old school Del Monte GC and scenic Pacific Grove GL. This was a 36-hole, two course, two-day event. She managed to finish 5th in this 35-field tournament posting 12-over 154.
Janna started off hot at the par 72 Del Monte GC on the first day. She was 2-under through 5th. On the next 13 holes, it was a mixed bag of six pars and eight unfortunate bogeys. She ended 6-over par 78 for 5th.
Second day at the par 70 Pacific Grove GL, Janna cruised even par through the 5th. Drama came on the 6th through the 9th with two bogeys and two doubles. With steadfast determination, she finished the back nine bogey free. She ended 6-over 76.
According to Janna, she enjoyed playing the two courses where she had great success in the past. Even though she was not able to improve her position, she was satisfied with the bogey free final nine holes to end in a positive note.
